Presidio Officers Clubview PresidioInn at the PresidioRebuilt and reborn and just reopened, the Presidio Officers’ Club is steeped in the history of California and the city of San Francisco. The modernization of the Officers’ Club maintained the original adobe walls built in 1776. Over the years it has been used as an Army gathering place and today has become a cultural destination. Featuring historical exhibits, as well as programs and music that explore the unique history of The Presidio and its role in California and San Francisco, it is truly a traveler’s destination and definitely worth the visit. The are permanent exhibits and special exhibits, an archeological lab for research, and an Earth Wall built with items taken from within the site of the Club and eucalyptus branches from nearby trees.
A new restaurant, Arquello, has opened inside and with all of the trails and spectacular bay views alone with the nearby Inn At The Presidio and the Disney Family Museum, The Presidio is not to be missed.
